I was going to try tapping some birch too this year -- we have quite a number of beautiful trees and there's no mistaking that bark -- but I didn't want to take on too much. It's on next year's to do list though!fiona@fionacampbell.cahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09455351263890165906noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5484860057974226820.post-52035201242015959442012-02-29T07:26:20.980-05:002012-02-29T07:26:20.980-05:00awww, this is a very sweet post, and so true! I'm so looking forward to those, though the weatherman says we've got more freezing rain and/or snow coming. What a weird winter this has been.

@ Marina -- thanks! There's no snow here and we just had the greatest spring thunder storm today. The kind that sounds, smells, and feels so good after winter.

Have a great tree tapping day.Davidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00571521947867768070noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5484860057974226820.post-55119070352913726242012-02-28T15:08:24.196-05:002012-02-28T15:08:24.196-05:00Very cool!
