Still here

Hi, folks. Sorry to be out of touch for so long. I started a new job last week and it's been crazy. I'm still working from home and it's part-time but as with all new jobs, it's taking up a lot of hours. Of course I'm still juggling kids home for summer vacation, farm animals, the garden, chores etc. and when faced with the choice between blogging and sleep, my bed wins every time!

But I so miss blogging and sharing and reading about everyone else's adventures, so I'll be back soon.

In the meantime, here's a snapshot of the view from my madcap life right now.

What, doesn't everyone have a treefrog crawling around their office window?

Glad to hear all is okay and you're just crazy, mad, frazzled, wonkoed, sleep-deprived and busy. :o)

We're still here too, Fiona - and completely understand the summer rush, esp compounded by new job load.

I'm suffering the same, but without the kids so can't exactly compare or complain, just weary all the same.

But the garden is providing well and my freezer and canned goods cupboard are quickly filling up. That keeps me sane, in a small way.

That's awesome! I love tree frogs, we have one on the back deck the kids named "Caesar". I know you are crazy busy but know we'll be here when you get time to post, make sure you at least put up some random photos of your "delicious mess" (which I am sure is more a mess than ever with all that's on your plate LOL), the kids, and of course "MORE HENRY"! Thanks for the update, make sure you take a few minutes for yourself!

Fiona, this summer is a busy summer for me as well. Last week my oldest daughter from Las Vegas came for a visit with her family. She spent three nights and two days here before moving on to visit her Mother. In that two days we had a cook out for 50 people and spent a day at the zoo in 90+ degree heat with matching humidity. I'm just now recovered from that week ago weekend.

The summer harvest is starting to come with the cucumbers leading the way for me. I'll probably give most of the produce away until the neighbors can't stand it any more then preserve the rest.

Post when you can. Have a great rest of the summer.

LOL...love that you noticed him and though to take a photo!

Just a reminder that we are getting near the end of the kinderGARDENS series and I'm urging everyone to link up as often as possible with their best posts. Soon the judges will be looking them over!

Have a happy Thursday! Kim
