Random moments of happiness #3
It's starting to look a lot like Christmas... or at the very least, it's starting to look like we'll need to actually put the snow blade on the ATV!

Igloo building time! It looks amazing up there. All the snow has melted away here, to be replaced with slick mud and icy-rain.
Hey - if you look carefully at the lower right of that image, there appears to be a beastie with red-glowing eyes - could it be the Jabberwocky?
`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"
He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought --
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.
And, as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!
One, two! One, two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.
"And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!'
He chortled in his joy.
`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
Mungo says Bah!
I wish we had that (much). It's been cold, but we only have a 1/2" dusting. Tomorrow is our (States) Thanksgiving, and it's always more festive the years that we do have snow for it.
Enjoy! :)
Mungo -- it is amazing here! Time for another visit???
And yes, in fact... that is a Jabberwocky! My dad used to read me that poem!!!
Chicken Mama -- we just got some more last night. It is lovely, when you don't have to go anywhere that is!
