"To find the universal elements enough; to find the air and the water exhilarating; to be refreshed by a morning walk or an evening saunter; to be thrilled by the stars at night; to be elated over a bird's nest or a wildflower in spring - these are some of the rewards of the simple life." ~John Burroughs
That's pretty funny! Do you all just have layers or do you raise meat birds as well? I'm not totally familiar with all the breeds yet so I don't know what type was pictured!
Erin -- We only have layers right now -- Plymouth Rocks, Black Sex Links, Rhode Island Reds, a couple Minorcas and this is one of about half a dozen Columbian Rock x Rhode Island Red. They're great layers, lovely disposition but wow, are they vocal!
