And then there were two

Now that May (aka Mrs. Nibbles) has a companion, my office is quiet again: her incessant peeping finally stopped. She took one look at June (that's the new one), bopped her on the head with her beak a few times as if to say, "What took you so long?" and then promptly snuggled up to her and fell asleep. Now that's baby duck love.

Ed. update: So much for the quiet! Now that it's morning, it's twice as loud as both of them are peeping for their breakfast. Good thing I don't have any client calls scheduled for today!

So cute... You need to turn the second picture into a calendar page or a greeting card. It's a wonderful picture.

Fiona, ducks are the one bird, in my opinion, that start life as a cute little fluff ball and retain their cuteness as an adult. Ducks never seem to get too hyper about anything. They just swim around on the pond enjoying life in the slow lane. If only I could do the same. Well, I wouldn't fair too well eating grasshoppers. Yuch!!

Have a ducky day at the Rowangarth Farm.
