"To find the universal elements enough; to find the air and the water exhilarating; to be refreshed by a morning walk or an evening saunter; to be thrilled by the stars at night; to be elated over a bird's nest or a wildflower in spring - these are some of the rewards of the simple life." ~John Burroughs
Fiona, yes, I celebrated Earth Day by digging in the earth. Gardening and yard work was on the list yesterday. I love the Spring earth so moist and sweet smelling. Fresh life springs up out of that soil in a way that happens no other time of the year. The trees are half way to full leaf and the spring flowers are blooming their hearts out. It's my favorite time of the year. How about you?

Have a great day after Earth Day.
The beauty of life springing up. Like those white petals.
