"To find the universal elements enough; to find the air and the water exhilarating; to be refreshed by a morning walk or an evening saunter; to be thrilled by the stars at night; to be elated over a bird's nest or a wildflower in spring - these are some of the rewards of the simple life." ~John Burroughs
Fiona, new life on the homestead is always an awe inspiring event, isn't it. Those are some fine looking lambs. They will be a great addition to your flock. I see new life on the way here. Fat Robins are plucking those worms out of the ground every day now. The daffodils are about to bloom and the crocus are in full bloom. The tulips and Iris are on the way. It's time to seriously start planting the garden tomorrow.
I hope things are as well as can be with you. Have a great day on the homestead.
I am sorry I forgot to mention I am a farmer in Ontario and someone told me about your blog so I came to check it out. I look forward to getting to know you. B
